My approach

A supportive space to feel understood

I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling understood. My style is warm, collaborative, and attentive to both the emotional and physical parts of your experience.

Living with chronic illness and pain has shaped how I understand the relationship between the body, identity, stress, grief, and hope. I know how isolating it can feel when physical experiences are minimized or misunderstood. In our work, you do not have to separate your mental health from what your body has carried.

We can make space for practical coping skills, deeper emotional exploration, mindfulness, and somatic awareness while moving at a pace that respects you.

Education & experience

A foundation in the brain, behavior, and whole-person care

Neuroscience

My bachelor’s education in neuroscience shaped my interest in how neurons, neurotransmitters, stress responses, and lived experiences influence mind and body.

Clinical Psychology

My master’s training in clinical psychology supports a thoughtful, evidence-informed understanding of emotion, behavior, relationships, and change.

Health Administration

As a doctoral candidate in Health Administration, I continue exploring how healthcare systems can offer more responsive, ethical, and person-centered support.

Infant and early childhood mental health consultation

Supporting caregivers and the people who care for young children

In addition to therapy, I work as an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. I partner with caregivers and early childhood professionals to strengthen relationships, support social-emotional development, and understand challenging behaviors with compassion and curiosity. My training includes Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and the Pyramid Model.

Culturally responsive care

Your culture is part of the conversation

Culture can shape how we understand identity, belonging, family roles, and expectations across generations. I make space for these experiences without assumptions.

Care can include:

  • Understanding bicultural identity and belonging
  • Recognizing family and cultural expectations
  • Exploring identity without assumptions
  • Therapy in English or Spanish
